I'm ready Mere Christianity and I like it so far--not a big fan of some of CS Lewis' other works, however--like the Narnia stuff.

For what it's worth: George Ladd may be a respected Bible scholar and a brother in Christ, but I'm afraid he doesn't understand and completely mischaracterizes dispensationalism in his book "The Blessed Hope." *NOT* recommended IMHO, because, I'm sorry, but he simply doesn't know what he's talking about. Of course, if you are untroubled by that fact because you happen to be a post-tribber, have at it.
