Flying Out

Dear friends,

This afternoon I leave by plane for Cache Valley, Utah, and ask for your prayers for me while on this mission trip to Mormon country. I'll be meeting with brother Evan Schaible to preach open air on two university campuses down there, and will be staying with a Christian family in town. Please lift up the students in intercession to God, that they would "open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." (Acts 26:18)

Yours in the service of Jesus Christ,

Hi Eli
May the Lord bless you richly as you take the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the Mormons out there. We will be praying for you!
Sincerely in Him.

Thank you so much for all that you did here at Utah State University. Your presence has simply opened so many doors to us as Christians living here full time to engage in open dialog with people that, in so many other situations, are unwilling to even approach the situation.

I pray that God will continue to keep, protect and guide you to inspire and change the lives of many. I hope to see you again someday. God Bless!

Thank you for reminding a brother of the words of the Master from the gospel of Matthew "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." and demonstrating what salt and light are.

I enjoyed your presence here at Utah State University. I hope that you were not discouraged by the somewhat rude Mormon response. I assure you, not everyone on campus is like that :)

God bless you for bringing the message of Christ, whether I fully agree with all your preach or not.
If anything, God bless you for bringing our campus a different viewpoint!

I sincerely appreciate you comming out to Utah State. It has opened up my eyes so much more towards christianity. I feel like there is hope for me again.

Forgive me if I haven't accepted your words entirely as truth, but I feel I have to verify what you speak through my own studies. I know I must do this for myself, and I will be studying what the Bible says in the next few months. I must do this on my own to know that I'm not being lied to, as I was when I was Mormon. However, I do feel that there is a lot of truth to what you are saying.

Thank you Eli, thank you for bringing me back to a position where I will study the bible. Thank you for your efforts. Thank you for preaching Christ's words.
