I AM THAT I AM

This is a video segment from the preaching on Saturday, the 13th, at the market. The text is taken from Exodus 3:13-14, "And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

A big thanks to those who came out to help sing and witness. We must be faithful in proclaiming the Word of God and allow the Spirit of the Lord to save men's souls. Eternal souls are at stake, and it is like in the days of old: "...the word of the LORD was rare in those days..." (1 Samuel 3:1) As the Church in Canada, we must be true to the Bible, to our faith and to our King, in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important.

After preaching downtown, I realize how much harder it is to preach at the market. There's a lot more noise at the market, you have to shout to be heard over the crowd, unlike on the streets.

and shouting you did....lol

Hi Eli,It is Michael McKay here from the Monday night drop-in Center. I found your website a few weeks ago and just thought I would let you know I just listened to the video and thought it was great.

You are a Man of great corage and conviction, and it takes the Anointing of the Holy Spirit to stand up and proclaim the gospel of Christ. Hope to run into you and chat sometime soon.

God bless and keep you always.

Brother Eli,

I just want to encourage you to keep pressing into the purposes of God for your life. Keep being a living epistle warning with meekness all those that are perishing away from God in love.

http://calvarychapelcanada.com/ - check out this blog I started to let people know of the work of Calvary Chapel across canada. I am going to be posted updates of the bible college that is starting in Kelowna, BC where I will be attending God willing in the next 2 months. I am praying that there will be many disciples raised up and new church plants established.

thanks
Greg

Question:

do you think that the random person whom you are trying to reach would understand half of what you are saying? I think that they would be more intimidated by your tone than the actual words you are saying. A majority of people wouldnt not know what "I am" even means. Even more people would probably not know what "alpha and omega" means, either. It's great that you have such intensity but perhaps you should reconsider your vocabulary and how you talk.

Hey Anonymous,

Yeah thanks, I have to watch out what I say so people can understand. Though, most people have some kind of Christian influence in their lives, either when they were young or a friend. They may not know what "I AM" means, but I can't change the name God told Moses to deliver to the people.

But anyway, thanks for the input.

Good message! Here's what Jesus said who he is in John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
